EE Lab Kits

We've consulted TAs to make our lab kits into two affordable tiers. Only taking one EE class? The basic kit should suit you best. If you're an EE or CpE major, then you'll appreciate the additions in the advanced kit.

WHO WE ARE

WHAT WE DO

Africana Cherith Dinner

"The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is the world’s largest technical organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity."

Our West Virginia University chapter is proud to honor that commitment by encouraging our own members to achieve the most that they can while pursuing their Electrical and/or Computer Engineering degrees. We do this by offering our members hands-on projects, networking opportunities, and academic assistance. Interested in joining? Check out our Membership Page to find out how!

Develop Your Skills

Technical and social skills are important towards building your career.

Hasan Soldering

Keep yourselves busy!

Part of professional development means that you need to find opportunities to develop your technical and social skills, things that are difficult to acquire in just a classroom setting. Several workshops will be held throughout the semester to help develop these skills for your engineering career. These skills might not be fostered in the labs associated with your major, such as soldering in this workshop where participants assembled their own micro keyboard. Other ways are by participating in any of our projects or requesting funding for your own.
